Shortcode not being generated

    I added this plugin just a few days ago and then wanted to change a registration form, but the functionality of adding the shortcode seems to have failed. Specifically, I click the button “Add Registration Form”, fill out the information requested and then click the “Insert Registration Form” which returns me to the page editor, but the shortcode is not added.

    I have tried deactivating and activating the plugin to no avail.

    Further, there are two features that I would really like to make this complete.
    1) I would like to have the user be logged in upon registering rather than having to take the additional step of logging in with the registration just created.
    2) A notification email is sent out to both the new user and the administrator. I would very much like for the message sent to the administrator include the custom fields that the user has entered.

    Just to follow-up. I learned that when I’m in the Visual mode of the editor, a shortcode is added, but it seems to be bogus. Here is the shortcode that was created:
    [register fields=”first_name,first_name,first_name,first_name,first_name,last_name,organization,first_name,last_name,organization”]

    I had filled out all of the fields available in the Add Registration Form and have only three custom fields – first_name, last_name, organization.

    Hi, Is this problem fixed in 2.3.9? For me it is.
    What happened is that it would append a new form when clicking the button, resulting in multiple invisible forms, skewing the data for the shortcode.
    Now it removes the old form when clicking the button again.

    About your requests. THis plugin seems to be somewhat in maintenance mode. The second request seems the most attainable :).

    On your first post, were you in text mode perhaps?
    That used to work, but I see strange things now.

    Your issue of not adding the shortcode in text-modus is fixed in SVN.

    I’ve just updated to 2.4.0 and this bug appears to be fixed.

    Hi, in 2.4.1 the custom fields are added to the email.
