Shortcode not being displayed on New User Registration For User

    Hi,
    I’m trying to add a Recipient User Firstname: [email_user_firstname] shortcode to a New User Registration For User Notification E-mail and noticed that it was not being displayed.
    I took a look at your documentation and noticed the following:

    These shortcodes can only be used in notifications that have a ‘Send To’ field and for users that have a WordPress account on your site

    If the User is pending approval then is it safe to say that they a user doesn’t have a WordPress account yet?

    If this is the case, then please advise how we can add shortcodes to the New User Registration For User notification.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks for your message.

    Are you using another plugin to add the approval part of the user registration process?

    I have the New User Approve plugin active at present, would this affect your plugin?

    Hi @canu,
    It sounds like your user approval plugin may be introducing an issue with how the data is saved within WordPress and so BNFW isn’t able to access the data at the time the notification is sent.
    Are you able to test the notification without the approval plugin to see if this solves the issue?
