    Hey folks

so far i’m using the powerkit plugin to display toc. it works, but this plugin isn”t dedicated to toc and i only use this feature.

So i’m thinking about moving to ez-toc.

i saw the [toc] shortcode, but what are the parameters i can use ? like label, depth ?

    is there a list ?

  • I’m very interested in that, too. The plugin is really great, but how can I insert the table of contents via shortcode manually?

When I use [toc], you see the table of contents, but no click jumps to the headline – nothing happens.

It’s important for me to place the table of contents in the Theme – especially because of the “width” of the table of contents and other adjustments.

PS: If I have the table of contents inserted automatically in addition to the shortcode, the links in both the shortcode table of contents and the automatically inserted one will work.

For this purpose, “Activate support” is activated for the post.

But if I deactivate “Automatic insertion”, you will only see the table of contents through the shortcode, but the links will not jump to the headlines.

When I look at the code of the page, I notice that no IDs are generated at all for the headlines if you only use the shortcode, and thus of course the links have no “target”.

“Support for posts” is activated, but apparently the plugin only creates the IDs for the headlines if you use “Automatic insertion”, that’s the problem.

RE: i saw the [toc] shortcode, but what are the parameters i can use ?

Sorry, but the are no shortcode parameters. It is a unsupported legacy feature which will remain in the plugin for backwards compatibility.

Please open you own support thread as this issue is unrelated to the original poster’s question. Thanks!

Okay, I created an own thread calles “Shortcode [toc]”.
