When using the shortcode [latest_series] I am getting the following error:

    No latest series image found.

The funny thing is the sermon series image can be seen on the site on the page that uses another shortcode, [sermon_images order="DESC"?orderby="id" per_page="6"]

    Also tested with [latest_series image_class="thumb" size="medium" show_title="true" title_wrapper="h1" title_class="custom-title-class" service_type="sunday-am" show_desc="true" wrapper_class="custom-wrapper-class"] to no luck.

I am running Sermon Manager for WordPress v. 2.15.17m and using Gutenberg 7.7.1 on my site.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Works fine on our test page.

Any troubleshooting tips you can share?

I would start by switching to one of the WordPress Themes. If it still doesn’t work, try disabling all plugins, except for SM and see if that works.

Thanks @hikinmike, I will run some plugin tests here. As an alternative, I can use [sermon_images order=”DESC” orderby=”id” per_page=”1″] shortcode to accomplish the same result – sharing here in case anyone else has the same issue.

    Cheers
