shortcode inside smart slider not working

    I’ve created a shortcode of a sidebar, added a weatherwidget inside the sidebar and then tried to add the shortcode inside smartslider in a html and text layer. Nothing is showing up on the frontend. When I add the shortcode inside an article it works.

    Where is the problem?
