• Greetings,

I have installed your shortcodes ultimate and am having an issue with nesting shortcode inside of a button. I have read the knowledgebase and saw that we place ” { }” inside of the shortcode to nest a shortcode as an attribute.

However, when I do that, my shortcode does not work. We have tried compatability mode on and off and it still does not work. I have even purchased the add-on but it seems a little confusing about how to edit the button shortcode.

I wish I could show you a site where this is happening but, it is being developed on an internal server.

I am trying to call the button with

url=”{editlink page_id=y} and it still returns the home page. If I call the editlink with brackets [editlink page_id=y] through a normal link it pulls up the page correctly. The editlink does not have a closing shortcode.

I have verified that I am running the latest version (4.2). Could you please point me in the right direction?

    thank you in advance
