shortcode in page don’t operate

  • Hello
    I have been using your plugin for several years, and even if I only used relatively simple functions it worked very well
    Since last year the ?event list? shortcode no longer works in pages, while in widgets it works well by setting all events
    My use is like:
    [events_list limit=”20″ category=”Hiero1-2021-s3″ orderby=”event_start_date” order=”ASC” scope=”future”] #_EVENTLINK <br/>#_EVENTDATES <br /> #_EVENTTIMES <br /> [/events_list]

    Where Hiero1-2021-s3 is the category identifier
I checked that the categories are well defined, and either the return is ?no events? or it starts from the beginning of the events and displays everything
I searched for very long hours, I even thought that my database had a problem, I deleted then re-installed the plugin

    Are you using the latest EM 5.11? also, does it makes any difference trying to temporarily remove category=”Hiero1-2021-s3″ ?

    Hi there! I am having the same problem. The Scope shortcode doesn’t work and the category id shortcode doesn’t work either.

    Let me give a little more detail:

    On the Event listing page (which lists future events only), I want to add to the page.

    Here is what I have.

    CONTENTS

    [events_list scope=”today” orderby=”event_start_date, event_start_time” order=”desc” limit=10 pagination=1]

    Past Events

    [events_list category=”36145″]

    For the shortcode with scope=”today”, it shows all the events, whether they are past or future.

    For the shortcode with the category=”36145″, I get an error “No events at this time. Check back soon for updates.”
    – for this one, I got the id from the category list page (so I’m assuming that’s the right id#).

    This is a client of mine and she uses WordPress as her host provider (if that has any meaning or not – I have found WordPress hosting to be very limiting to say the least).

    Same problem here. I try to use [events_list category=”1″] but it doesn’t work!
    I need to list events form one category. Could anyone help me?

    I ended up using a different plugin. I could not get this one to work properly and no one ever answered.
