I want to make a simple page with a simple URL which I can direct users to go to for sign-up to the newsletter.

I put my form’s shortcode into a shortcode Gutenberg block on a new page and tried to save it, but it says it can’t save:

Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

I’m using the form successfully via the shortcode block in a widget menu. What could the problem be?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello and sorry about the delay, we are much more active on our contact form.

Did you try directly pasting the subscription form’s shortcode in a text block instead of a WP shortcode block?

Thanks for responding. I get the same error.

I even get it when I use plugin troubleshooting to disable all other plugins.

Thanks for reporting this, we found a fix that will be included in the next version ??
