shortcode get chopped after equal sign on updating the page

Thank you for the plugin.
I was wondering if there was a fix to this:
shortcode get chopped after equal sign on updating the page. So instead of getting this : [user_custom_field field=”tvcuserid” this_post=”1″ /] , I get this [user_custom_field field= !!!
Can you help me understand what is going on and how should I fix it ?
