Shortcode generator dialog disappeared

    Hi there,

    For some reason, the shortcode dialog box does not appear at all anymore. Before, it was only the “Ready” button that never showed up, but now it’s the entire dialog.

    What’s the reason for that? Where do I need to look for the problem?

    I can not reproduce this on my uptodate dev site.
    Most likely a conflict with another plugin.

    Looks like as if it was the “Shortcodes Indep” shortcode generator plugin. After deactivating it, the WPPA+ plugin came up again. However, the ready button still doesn’t appear. It’s so weird.

    There is one known issue, IMO a gutenberg bug, as that he shortcode generators for the cassic editor that used to work in the old editor and still work when you install the classic editor plugin, do not work in the gutenberg editor in ‘classic’ mode. So the classic mode is not compatible with the genuine classic editor.

    Unfortunately nobody responded to this issue, it looks that the gutenberg developers prefer implementing new bugs over fixing existing issues.

    If the Ready button does not appear, you can always copy-past the shortcode preview into a generic shortcode block.
