shortcode galleries work, but permalink galleries do not

When I use the shortcodes the galleries are fully clickable:

https://www.james-baker.com/photos/

But the galleries at the permalinks are all greyed out:

https://www.james-baker.com/rl_gallery/photos-3/

I would like to fix galleries at the permalinks OR somehow delete the permalink altogether if possible?
