Shortcode for the Catalogue demo

Although shortcode and other information is available at https://vedathemes.com/documentation/podcast-player-pro/, however, I am quite sure you’ve entered everything correctly. The problem might be that the player is auto responsive. Which means, If the player’s width is less than 640px it is converted to single column layout with full width cover image (I admit the cut off size is too big and the very big cover image doesn’t look good. However, I am working on it and is should be corrected in next update)

In short, please check that player’s width should be more than 640px.

If my above understanding is not correct. Please create a sample test page with your current results and provide a url. I will check it and provide proper solution.

It was the proper width, but not working. It’s working now, but only because I created a new element (in WPBakery Builder) with the shortcode. *shrug*

But what I’d really like now is a player similar to the one in the demo and not the large video player that’s appearing now. How might I change it up to use that?

I understood the problem. Let me explain,

The Problem

1. Podcast player can work with both audio or video podcasts. It creates automatic layout suitable to display audio OR video content.
2. In our case, the latest podcast episode’s (i.e., Remote Spotlight: Design) media is a video mp4 file. Therefore, podcast player assumes that it is a video podcast and provide markup/ styling for the video podcast.

3. What you see and desires in Podcast player’s demo site is an audio podcast player.

Therefore, if your latest episode contains a video file, podcast player will show a video podcast player. To explain it, I have created two instances of your podcast. In first, the first episode (top most) is having a video file and in second, the first episode is having an audio file. You can check the difference at https://vedathemes.com/docs-aamla/podcast-testing/.

What can be done

1. Is it feasible and possible to replace video media file in your latest episode to audio media file? If you can do that it will solve the problem.

2. Are you planning to add only video media files in all subsequent episodes? If this is not the case, then as soon as you add a new episode with audio media, the layout will become as you want i.e., audio player layout.

3. However, If you are only planning to add video media files in your all subsequent episodes then we have to look for other solution.

Please check and inform if above info is enough to solve the issue OR we need to work more deeper to resolve the issue.
