shortcode for pictures

  • I am using WP Tabs to organize my pages and would like to display photos in a tab, but cannot get it to work. All of my other shortcodes are working. Is this the right shortcode for the picture files other than the header photo? Should this work?

    [rootsPersonaPictures personId='{%personid%}’ batchId='{%batchid%}’/]

    update – I figured it out but instead of photos I have boxes with a little question mark in them. Is there a specific file type required?
