Can I use a shortcode block to insert a specific Hestia “frontpage section” on any page of my WordPress site?

For example, there is a section called “Features”. Can I use a shortcode such as [hestia_features] to insert a copy of the “Features” section on a new WordPress page?

    Hey @mengelsen,

Thanks for using Hestia and reaching out.

You can do this with the help of the Reusable blocks feature of Gutenberg. In order to do this First go the pages > Home, Edit the page and select the section block that you want to reuse on other pages(in your case feature block) then click on the three dots and select the “Add to reusable block” option, see here and give it a name.

Now, you can use this reusable block on as many pages and post as you want, you will just have to edit the page and add the block there.

For example see here, and if you want to extend this feature and use the shortcodes to implement the same thing then you can do this with this plugin.

Please let me know if you have some other questions.

Thank you and have a great day!

@kushnamdev Thanks for this detailed response (complete with screenshots)!

The add to reusable blocks feature works (kind of).
The textual content is duplicated. However, my Home page features different Font Awesome icons–which are controlled by the Hestia theme. The “reusable block” shows the original icons–before they are modified by Hestia.

Also, the Reusable Blocks Extended plugin does not display an option called “Hestia feature reusable block”. Is this a Hestia PRO feature? https://prnt.sc/_F6MhyHV1BVR

    Hey @mengelsen,

The “Hestia Feature Reusable block” that appears in my screenshot is the name that I just gave to the reusable block, in your case it will be something that you gave. But, if you want to display the same section that appears on your homepage to the other pages without creating duplicate section then that could be only achived by the Hestia Pro, You can check the documentation here.

You can use [hestia_features] shortcode with Hestia pro and the Feature section will appear on the other pages with the same icons that you have on the Home page, see here : Screenshot 1 of shortcode
    screenshot 2

Thank you and have a nice day!

    Makes sense.

I do have (1) more question about the Hestia home page sections…When I edit the Home page, I see the “Features” object, but I do not see the “Contact” block (until I leave edit mode).

Is this normal? Or is there some way to display the (missing) Contact block, while editing the Home page?

    (@kushnamdev)

    Hey @mengelsen,

Yes, That’s normal. The only way to have all those frontpage sections displayed on other pages is to have the pro version, But If you do want to change the content of the contact section you can do that from here: https://prnt.sc/YiJ3lNBExdH9

So, If your query is resolved and you don’t have any further questions can you please mark this as resolved?

Thanks and have an amazing day!
