  • Hi Susan,

Can you post a link to the page you want to customize?

Thanks. Do you have that page set as the “Edit events page” under Events > Settings > Pages > Other Pages?

HI, yes I do that is when it knocked off the text. What I have done in the mean time is put the text as a widget on the side. Is there shortcode for the edit events to work or does it only work if you place it in the pages other pages area?

We really wanted text on there telling people what to do. That is why we are asking. I noticed when we were creating the event’s page that it strips all text away so we are using the short code for those pages and was hoping that maybe the edit we could do the same.

    Thanks again for you help

    Susan

If you use this shortcode for the submission form…

    [event_form]

…you should be able to add content above and below it.

Thanks Yes I am using that on the events page but I was asking about if you have short code for the edit function?

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay I think I figured how a workaround. But I do have a question on how to not allow people into he back end of wordpress When they login to edit there events which they can do on the page but if they look up top they can still access the dashboard is there a way to block them out from that?
