Shortcode for categories

    Hi,
    I need something simple that will not slow my website and I am testing your plugin.
    I want to migrate from WPDM that has take a strange turn.

    My question is how I can list all the downloads from a category?

    I am trying with [lana_download id=”category-descriptor”] and [lana_download id=”category-ID”] but it seems that it doesn’t work.

    I have many files under dynamic categories, and to put for each file code in page is excluded.

    Hi,

    The plugin does not include category listings because it is too complicated (can be grid list, simple list, what to display, how to display).

    I have an addon plugin that has content category list widgets for lana downloads manager. This can be used for most page builders (e.g. Elementor).

    Thing is that I am trying to find something out of the box and exclud workarounds.
    But for my next project I will definetly try to test the addon.

    Yeah, I think there are a couple of Custom Post Type and Custom Taxonomy listing plugins, I just don’t know how much you can change the look and add meta tags.

    Note that for Lana Download, the download URL is not the default permalink, but a meta that works with a function:

    $download_url = lana_downloads_manager_get_download_url( $post_id );
