Hi, when im creating a new page named “dashboard” and paste this shortcode
[wcv_vendor_dashboard]. Then click ‘update’ it always shows “updating failed”. But if i use
[wcv_pro_dashboard] it doesnt give this error. Why? Im using the most up to date wordpress, woocommerce, wcvendors free. All of this is fresh installation.

I need to deactivate wcvendors plugin first before adding shortcode. Then reactivate wcvendors again. So im sure its a bug?

    Hello,

We had a bug in our code when using the new Gutenberg editor which we have now fixed and will be out with our next release.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

Having uploaded and installed woocom. & wcvendor (correctly) to build my site, yet I am struggling to enable my ‘vendor dashboard’ I have added the shortcode – wcv_vendor_dashboard – to my vendor dashboard page – it does not appear to be working, all other pages shortcodes appear to be fine. Carrying out a test run with a different user id, when clicking on the page all that came up was the shortcode?
Please could you advise me where I go from here.
    Many thanks

    Hi @weddingsinspain

In the future, please start your topics so that they are easier to follow, as this topic is already resolved.

If a shortcode isn’t working, there could be a number of reasons including formatting issues in the page. Ensure that there is no formatting wrapping the shortcode. Please also follow our debugging guide available here:

    https://docs.wcvendors.com/knowledge-base/the-debugging-guide/

    cheers,

    Jamie.
