  • I’m having the same issues Rebecca,
Did you ever find a solution to this issue?

I’m trying to display the following shortcode in my page slider:

    [video_lightbox_youtube video_id=_rAeMEmPNAk&hd=1 width=905 height=611 anchor=https://localhost/CLK/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/btn-view-demo-up.png]

It’s supposed to launch a pop up window.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi everyone

I am facing the same issue. I am using Smooth slider with Crumble Magazine theme on one of my sites https://kaamkikhabar.com and the dropcap shortcode [dropcap]content here[/dropcap] is not working in the slider! The characters between the dropcap goes missing…

    any solution?

    Regards
    Raj

    Hey Raj,

Unfortunately the Smooth Slider doesn’t allow for Short Codes… which I thought was kinda bad from a development standpoint but in a way you can’t argue with Free.

I am sure eventually the developer will add it in to allow for shortcodes.

I would suggest just creating a custom CSS style to apply. Make it an h4 or h5 tag.
