• Send me your shortcode, channel id, api key, some kind of info in order to help you

    Hi,
I am designing a website for my client and they require their You Tube channel on their website which i followed the Shortcode option for to try and implement. This is their channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChYLldG5QLOqD914kaTpCAA.

    Their credentials are below:
    user id: hYLldG5QLOqD914kaTpCAA
    channel id: UChYLldG5QLOqD914kaTpCAA

I am using this basic shortcode option (below) on the website, reapcing the “googledevelopers” part with the User ID or Channel ID.
    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery user=”googledevelopers” key=”your_Google_API_key” maxitems=”16″ thumb_columns_tablets=”4″ title=”1″]

Unfortunately after creating an api key via the https://console.developers.google.com/ and inserting this code (AIzaSyANmBYgrl0LQi5AFR7tBzPWbCYZ7V1hEOg) into the key=””, i am getting this error message ” Error type: “Bad Request”. Error message: “Bad Request” Domain: “usageLimits”. Reason: “keyInvalid”. “

Does the client need to create their own Google Api from the same account as the You Tube link, as I have created this one myself from my peronsal google account. Would that make a difference?

Can you please advise how i rectify this in order to get it working correctly please asap.

    Many thanks
    Graham
