Shortcode doesnt work

It appears that none of the auto-magically generated pages that PMPro creates actually work. The shortcode is there but the pages don’t display. Even creating a brand new page and using the shortcode fails to display a page, although the breadcrumbs do show up and the URL is correct.

Any suggestions on what to check?
