    Hi Alex,

I have been trying to embedd a readme from my github page on my personal homepage, but I can’t get it to work. I have deactivated all other plugins, still no success. I have been using this shortcode:

    [embedGitHubReadme owner=”mluerig” repo=”iso-cv”]

Do you have any idea about what is wrong?

    Cheers
    Moritz

    okay, this is reeeally strange:
I checked the readme of my repo “iso-cv” (the one that wouldn’t be parsed) for markdown that could cause the problem, but I didn’t find anything.
Then I made a new repo (“test-cv”) that was just a copy of iso-cv, and used the shortcode to embedd it. worked fine!
Then I deleted iso-cv from github, and renamed test-cv to iso-cv. I changed the shortcode back to iso-cv, but this again wouldn’t work. Now, test-cv has been renamed, BUT using a shortcode with test-cv still works while iso-cv doesn’t.
I am completely lost as to where in this the error lies. How can the shortcode still parse the readme from a repo that doesn’t exist anymore – is it still cached somewhere?

Sorry for throwing all this at you, I hope it makes sense.
