Shortcode doesn’t display correctly on the page

  • Hi Tom,
    I have recently download the plugin. Everything has been added following the video. The provided short code was added (copying it and pasting it) on the page in where we would like that posts would display. But it doesn’t work.
    We are able to recognize the image of WP show posts on the “blog page” but not short code is obtained from that tab.

    Hi there,

    Are you trying to add the shortcode into the page that’s set to be your posts page in “Settings > Reading”?

    If so, WordPress ignores the content of that page and displays posts instead.

    You need to use the WPSP shortcode on static pages or posts.

    Hi Tom,

    Thank for your prompt reply. The wpsp shortcode was used on an static page called “Blog”. The shortcode was used but on the website doesn’t display it. The website shows up the shortcode instead of the posts.

    I can send screenshots if you wish but not idea how to do it since we can not attache anything using this tool.

    Hope there is a solution to the issue.

    Hey!! I am writing shortcode in my homepage editor. But when i am saving the page, shortcode turns into some jquery code. How to solve that?? And homepage has been set to static page by settings –> reading.
