Shortcode cycle fader stopped working

    Hi,

    cycle=fader has stopped working all of a sudden, happened with last upgrade… wondering if there’s a fix or it’s a compatibility issue with my theme (divi – older version).

    here’s the shortcode I’m using – [good-reviews random=1 limit=1 category=”21d_t” excerpt=1]
    deleted the cycle=fader from the shortcode but every time I put it back in, review disappears. tried it with “” cycle=”fader” that doesn’t work either.

    Also tried the sidebar widget, when I select “fade between reviews” it doesn’t work. “List all reviews” does work.

    Sorry for the delay in responding. I didn’t receive an email notification with your support requests.

    It looks like you’ve been caught by the jQuery upgrade in WordPress 4.5. A plugin or theme is using some out-dated code (probably your old version of Divi) that is causing a JavaScript error. This is cascading down and effecting the reviews fader.

    The only way to fix it is to fix it at the source, so I’d recommend narrowing down the source of the problem by switching to a default theme and deactivating all other plugins. You can then reactivate them one-by-one until you find the culprit.
