Shortcode buttons bad behaviour in columms

As you can se in the pictures, i am experiencing som weird behaviour when using the shortcodes in columns. The button obviously should fit in a 1/2 column, but for some reason it does not. Is it possible to change when the button “brakes”?

2.
Is it possible to have the tabbed cart hidden until someone places an item in the cart? Like in the one from shopify?
