shortcode

  • Hi,
    i am currently doing upgrade from 4.4 to new versions 5 up,
    however i found the short codes are changed to other codes.
    once this plugin is upgraded.

    Is there any recommendation way to do the upgrade ?

    Hi @tomaschen,

    Sorry for the late reply. I missed to reply earlier.

    If your shortcodes in v4.4 has “spaces” in shortcode name then in v5+ they will be converted to hyphens. i.e if your shortcode is [sc name="my test"] then it should be [sc name="my-test"] in v5+.

    But you do not need to change anything on your posts if you have used the old format. Shortcoder will automatically recognize the old format.

    There is no action needed from your side.
