    Hi,

I have created an event but could someone please explain how to actually add it to the website? I can’t find a shortcake or is there a very simple way to add it?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You can easily attach an event to a menu item by going to Appearance->Menu. You will find Events tab on the left column along with other event related pages like Event Types, Venues etc.

Event Kikfyre does not work through shortcodes. Events are custom post types and have their own slugs so you can access them directly with permalinks or attach them to menu items. I hope this makes things clearer.

Do let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Guys,

You can use this [em_events] shortcode to display events in any page text area.

Please let me know if you have any other query.

    Thanks,

    Dear Sir/Madam:

RE: PLUGIN – KICKFYRE EVENT REGISTRATION TOOL KIT
SHORTCODE IN EVENTS PAGE NOT WORKING
NO TEXT FIELD IN TICKETS MANAGER TO ENTER INFO ABOUT TICKET SALE

I have completed all the fields in the various sections of Kickfyre e.g. Add Event, Venues & Locations, Ticket Manager, Bookings. However, they do not display on the event page of the website. I noticed that Kickfyre created an events page with a shortcode [em_events]
When I view this Events page, I get an error message on the page that states: “Sorry…
Sorry, no events matched your criteria”. Nothing else is displayed on the Events page

Also, on the Tickets Manager, there is no text field that allows me to enter information about the ticket sale, such as ticket date and address of event, price price, etc. It is actually already populated with the wrong info. I thought maybe the info I added in the Venues & Locations section would be imported to populate the ticket that’s created by the Tickets Manager, but that does not happen.

The “Event Types” page is the only page where the shortcode works and it displays as it should.

Please, could you help resolve the issue?

    Thanks!

Could it be because I am using WordPress version 4.7.3 and maybe Kickfyre is not compatible with this version?

Please, could you help resolve the issue?

    Hello,

Please, I still have not received an answer to my question. I have not been able to proceed since yesterday. My question was directed to the Kickfyre author or creator, but at his appoint anyone who has an answer can please help!

    Thank you!
