short_name not being offered during “Add to Home Screen”

    I am testing this plugin for the first time and have found a (somewhat trivial) issue.

    In the configuration, I have designated the “Short Name” as “AHH.com”. This value saves fine and appears in the pwp-manifest file just fine:
    "short_name":"AHH.com"

    However, when I try to “Add to Home Screen”, that value is not offered, but instead I get the value from the website’s title tag.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open the PWA in a supported browser: https://dev.ansbachhometownherald.com/
    2. Start Add to Home Screen
    3. Note the name suggested by the browser

    Expected behavior:
    – The name offered would read “AHH.com”

    Actual behavior:
    – The name offered reads “Ansbach Hometown Herald – Ansbach Military Community information published by AdvantiPro GmbH for the U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach Public Affairs Office”

    I realize this is likely due to the iOS / Safari, but wanted to double-check…

    Device used for testing:
    – iPhone 12 Pro
    – iOS 14.6
    – Safari
