Did the ‘short_description’ data field get removed with the 5.0.19 update? I have a regular image item that uses the data=’short_description’ to create the link text. When I add a new download or edit an old one, I no longer see the field to add a short description/summary.

Here’s an example as to how I am using it.

    <p><figure class="aligncenter size-full">[download_data id='1234' data='image']<br><a href="[download_data id='1234' data='download_link']">[download_data id='1234' data='short_description']</a></figure></p>

    Hi @grezes71,

Please update to the latest version (5.0.20), as the issue should be resolved. Keep in mind that the “Short Description” is only shown when using the “Box” template. If you’re using a different template, you can refer to this guide for detailed steps on how to display the short description: https://download-monitor.com/kb/how-to-display-the-short-description-on-your-downloads/.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us.

Thanks, and have a great day!

    Warm regards,

    Cristina.
