I just noticed that 4 of my customer’s sites all the images that are supposed to be loading from the cdn are not showing… I can see the links to the CDN but the images are not showing… for now I disabled the plugin on all 4 sites; can’t have that lol :/

    Any help is appreciated!!

All of these sites are running the latest version and also at wordpress 5.6, all caches have been cleared….

Any idea of why this would have started happening?

*** FOR THE FREE version does the acct have to be ‘ASSOCIATED’ with a shortpixel account? Or like does that work only for a limited time or something?

    Thank you!

    Hi, @fourwhitesocks,

We had a temporary issue yesterday, but it was solved in 15 minutes ??

Regarding the associated domains, you must associate each domain to your account, even if the account is free: https://help.shortpixel.com/article/94-how-to-associate-a-domain-to-my-account

Ok, thank you for that much appreciated, BUT the only account (after looking closer) that this problem didn’t happen with is a free domain that WAS associated with SPixel Adaptive Images.

Is that why the other 3 showed missing images? Trying to figure out if the missing images were due to the free sites not be associated or from your aforementioned 15min outage? Can you make that part more clear to me?

    THANK YOu!

    Hi @fourwhitesocks,

The issue happened for all accounts, regardless of being free or not. I guess the inconsistency would be caused by some cache layer.

Ok thank you lol but what I’m trying to determine is if it happened because an account wasn’t ‘associated’ with SPAI…? That’s my real Q ??

    Thank you!

It definitely did not happen because a domain wasn’t associated to your account ??

There was just an small technical issue with our CDN provider, nothing serious.

    Cheers!
