Short links stopped generating previews when shared on whatsapp (

    Hi guys! My website https://fup.org.br used to show correctly the short links’ previews when shared on WhatsApp or Facebook, with all meta tags information from the regular post url. However, it looked that it suddenly stopped working. When I tried sharing a link, for instance, https://fup.org.br/umz3, it doesn’t render the link preview, and also, when I tried scraping the link on facebook debugger, it returned a 403 http error, and returned no meta information.

    Any clue on how to solve this problem? Thank you in advance!

    We have tested the given link on Facebook and it seems it’s generating preview (see the image). Please check once again and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Mike! Thanks for your response!

    In fact, I checked the link on Facebook Debugger, and it didn’t show an error anymore. However, when I check it in other Metatag scraping tools, it doesn’t show anything…

    Tried scraping the following ones, and had the same error:
    https://metatags.io/
    https://www.heymeta.com/results?url=https://fup.org.br/umz3/

    Also, when I try sharing this or any short link directly on WhatsApp, it still doesn’t render any preview…

    Hello,

    We have checked on Heymeta as well and it’s generating preview.

    For WhatsApp, even we face the similar issues. Sometimes it generates preview and sometime it doesn’t generate the previews for the same link.

    So, we believe that it’s a temporary issue with.
