Hello ??
I’m using (of cause ?? ) the latest version of WordPress – 4.8.2.
My theme is called Voyager.
Debug output (I’ve anonymized parts of the path):
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function __() in
/www/htdocs/xxx/blog.austria-insiderinfo.com/wp-admin/includes/file.php:16
Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /www/htdocs/xxx/blog.austria-insiderinfo.com/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 16

Strange: it seems that the backups are still running, even if I’ve deactivated the plugin (not absolutely sure about it but the log looks like this is the case).
Nice greetings
Horst
