• Hello Romik84!

    I have a site which is broken and an other site with Evolve ChildTheme and own PHP-Templates.

    Do you have a short instruction manual what people can use to get rid of it step by step?

  • I wrote it here more times in the threads, if you are using a child theme, you need to update the main style sheet definition. Also if you did some functions modifications, you need to update their locations. Not able to check your website :(. What’s broken?

    There is not such manual as every user makes different changes to the child theme. If you would upload your child theme somewheree I could have a look and advice what need to change.

    there is a contact page where you can insert the zip file URL

    Filename: 180813_SMB_Evolve_Child_Theme.zip

    FTP-username: [email protected]
    FTP-Server: https://ftp.srv-mars.de
    Port für FTP & explizites FTPS: 21

    Pass: c36072f1b4

    from what I saw you need to do following:

    – replace all functions call evolve_get_option() to new function name evolve_theme_mod()
    – in footer.php remove <?php evolve_footer_hooks(); ?>
    – in single.php remove <?php semantic_entries(); ?>

    Those are only first modifications. As you did many modifications I would recommend to compare your extra/modified files with the parent structure. As I mentioned, there is no guide how to update a child theme, as you did/set many files from the parent theme
