Short codes showing in excerpt

    There are shortcodes showing on my excerpt and I don’t want them to show. I want to use these tools they are necessary. I am also worried that it will hurt my SEO

  • Hi @mariamoor,

    You can’t show shortcodes in excerpt. Instead of shortcode you can try adding simple text in your excerpt textbox. By default the excerpt textbox is hidden when writing a post. To make it visible you need to go Screen Options at the top right and from there you need to check Excerpt. You will then able to add custom excerpts.
