I would like to show the default message to non-logged in readers part way through a post, rather than just hide the content. Is there a short code to do this?

@mfogliani – Sorry for the delay, absolutely, check the screenshots for some examples of using the [content_control] shortcode.

Hi. The shortcodes in your example do work.

However, I am trying to show some of the post content before displaying the Default Denial Message requesting that they subscribe to see the rest of the content. (e.g. only showing 8 of the “10 best things you can do …” and requiring them to subscribe to see the last 2.)

The Default Denial Message displays when I apply the content control to a whole post but not when I apply it part way through a post.

Am I doing something wrong or is this by design?

@mfogliani – Just saw you replied again. I just patched this so that the shortcodes use the default denial message as well.
