New issue following latest MailPoet update – looks like a bug.
    Mailpoet 3 v 3.54.3
    Mailpoet 3 Premium v 3.54.0

Problem: [subscriber:firstname | default:subscriber] in Notification Subject line

Notification email shortcode in Subject line picks wrong [firstname], and the name entered can be from a list to which they are not subscribed!

Shortcode displays correct [firstname] in message body, corresponding to the subscriber email.

    See Loom video for details.

    Please advise?
    Thanks
    Ken

  • I’ve the same problem. A big problem!

Same problem here, since the last update…
Sending a tesmail works fine >> right firstname in subjectline
but sending the newsletter to a mailing list >> subject line is taking the default
…. in the email field all shortcodes work fine…

YES, I’m having the exact same problem with this!
The subject line shortcode is NOT inserting the correct data for the subscribers.

I hope this is able to be fixed soon!!!

    Thanks for reading.

    UPDATE – GOOD NEWS!!

    Tony
