  • Hi @trevorbranton,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    Sure we will help you.

Could you please tell us which shortcode you are using and do you mean the shortcode is displaying in the content of pop up or in the post content where it is displaying?

Also if you can please share the page URL from your site where the pop up is displaying so that i can troubleshoot it.

If the shortcode in the pop up doesn’t work for you then please try using “Page Footer” pop up loading method from the pop up settings on the following path.

Admin Area -> PopUp -> Settings -> PopUp Loading Method

    Best Regards,

    Hi

Website URL in question is https://www.trevorbranton.co.uk/requesting-your-sa302-from-hmrc-when-youre-applying-for-a-mortgage/

You will see on the 2nd paragraph, it shows, [popupwfancybox group=”GROUP1″]

Popup works fine and as expected, but the Shortcode should not be displayed surely!.

The text/code was not added there by me, it was via your plugin option to select the page it appears on.

I have tried the other 2 methods, and they show the same issue.

    Thanks

    Hi @trevorbranton

Thanks for providing those extra details! That shortcode isn’t actually coming from our popup plugin, there’s no shortcode like that within the plugin’s code. Is there any chance you’ve got the following plugin installed?
    https://www.gopiplus.com/work/2013/08/08/popup-with-fancybox-wordpress-plugin/#.VLoaNyvF_Wg

If you could try deactivating other plugins and switching to TwentyFifteen theme, that’ll help to see if where it’s being added from.

    Cheers,
    David
