Short Code ACF

does the short code work in acf flexible content fields?

So when the the shortcode is shown it normally means that WordPress is processing it as a string of text.

I am not that familiar with ACF flexible content fields but I see in this thread on their support forum that there is no documentation on how to add shortcodes to that field type.

So the best next step would be to contact them and ask what’s the best way to add the shortcode on that field.

ACF just renders what is inside the content, so all shortcodes work, except mail poet.

i tried adding the short code in the loop via php and it doesnt render
[mailpoet_page] just does not do anything
i checked the server logs for errors and to see what is going on with this url
?mailpoet_router&endpoint=subscription&action=confirm_unsubscribe
nothing is reported
i swapped to 2021 theme and nothing shows

Please note that you will also need to “declare” the “Unsubscribe” page that you want the shortcode to appear in under ‘MailPoet > Settings > Basics… tab’ as shown in this screenshot and explained in this tutorial.

Can you please verify that you have added the page there too?

If you have added the page there I think that the issue is related to how the shortcode is added.

To discard this you can perform a conflict test as explained here

Can you please share a screenshot of the Unsubscribe page settings under ‘MailPoet > Settings > Basics… tab’ as I have done in this screenshot? https://d.pr/i/IrVBHd

Could you also share a screenshot on how you are adding the [mailpoet_archive] shortcode and the [mailpoet_page] to that page?
