• Hi,
We are planning to use Jackmail for one of my websites. After installing the plugin I am not able to see any type of form shortcode which we can use on our home page. Where we can get the subscriber email and save emails in a specific list. In the widget section, we have the option but it only allows us to show form in the sidebar and footer.

Please suggest how can we use the subscriber form in the middle of the content on the page. Is there any shortcode available? Please confirm.

    Thanks

  • Hello!

You will find the answer of your question in our Help Center on Jackmail.com:
    https://www.jackmail.com/docs/en/contact-list/how-to-add-the-jackmail-form-widget

Please note that our widget can normally only be added to a WordPress theme Sidebar (and the widget must be located on the homepage of your website in order to that the offered Double optin feature is working – otherwise it would only be possible to use a single optin).

If you want to place this signup form directly on your homepage, you need a shortcode, but Jackmail does not yet generate an own shortcode, but for example the plugin Widget Shortcode or Shortcoder works perfectly with Jackmail and allows you to display it wherever you want (but still the signup form has to be on the homepage if you want to use the double optin feature).

    Best regards,
    Hendrik

    Hi
Thanks for the reply, one more thing, is there any way to customize the success message? Currently, it is showing in an alert box.

    Thanks

    Hi,

there is no setting to customize the success (or error message) in our plugin. But theoretical you will be able to modify the widget.php of our plugin to customize this I guess (besides if you plan to place the widget anywhere else as on the home page than there would also be possible to adapt the path for the double optin (actually line 266 in the widget.php) but in case of a new version of Jackmail this file would be overwritten again and you would have to add again your modifications…

    Best regards,
    Hendrik
