    Hi,

My customer complained he could suddenly not update costs anymore since last saturday. So I assume this is caused by the automatic plugin update to 2.8.7 He could update the costs again after I changed his role to Admin.

Is this rights change meant to be?

    Thanks,
    Carl

    Hi @carlrozemaaxcintnl ,

Recently, on version 2.8.7 we’ve improved the security of the bulk edit tools. Now, we’re also making this check: current_user_can( 'manage_options' ).

But you’re right. Maybe that was overacted because the user would have to be the administrator in order to update the costs in bulk.

I’m going to change it to current_user_can( 'manage_woocommerce' ) on version 2.8.8. Let me know if you agree or if you have any other suggestion.

    Hi Pablo,

Yes, that seems to be the right solution. Thanks!

Any idea when 2.8.8 will be released?
