    Hello,

We are running Shopify on multiple WP sites. Each site has it’s own collection. The problem arrives when the site is loaded many times the shopify collection will not load. This even happens on an incognito window with that does not use cache. When I hard refresh it always works. When the Shopify plugin does not function and I inspect with chrome I get a

“Fetch API cannot load https://widgets.shopifyapps.com/v4/adapter_props?shop=blissedoutgeek.myshopify.com. The ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header has a value ‘https://www.unicornthingy.com’ that is not equal to the supplied origin. Origin ‘https://www.dolphinthings.com’ is therefore not allowed access. Have the server send the header with a valid value, or, if an opaque response serves your needs, set the request’s mode to ‘no-cors’ to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.”

The value can vary. It could be one site or another. I am assuming it is the last one that we visited. Right now we have 7 sites loading the shopify plugin this way. With more to come shortly.

All of the sites are created with the Divi theme. Are there any compatibility issues?

What would be the proper approach to fix this? Is this a cache issue?

    Hi there,

Are these for completely separate websites or are they all part of a WP Multisite?

    Thanks for contacting us!

So far we have made a few changed to the plugins output.php code and to each sites “.htaccess” files with not much success.

Also would it be appropriate to use a crossdomain.xml file?

    Hi,

Our team has been unable to recreate this error, does this problem occur if you create product embeds in the Buy Button app in your Shopify account?

It’s possible it could be something related to the theme.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hi,

Just wanted to follow up with some more information. Our devs don’t think this should cause any issues on the customers’ end.

However, they are also recommending that you take a look at the Buy Button JS UI Library: https://shopify.github.io/buy-button-js/

Thanks for contacting us and feel free to message us if you have any other questions.
