• Hi –

the SHOP tab has a drop down which gives a few options to choose and the tab (SHOP) itself not supposed to work but its active and everyone can see all the products randomly arranged.

How can i make the SHOP tab inactive?

I resolved this issue before but i guess with wordpress updates things get messed up…

    Thanks!

    Hey,
You can adjust the menu items from Appearance > Menus.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Hannah,

I need to make the SHOP tab itself “inactive” and non-clickable so people can only use the drop down. How can I do that?

    Thanks!

    Hey,
Add your shop menu item as a custom link then in the URL tab enter “#”.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Hannah,

Can you elaborate more on what would be the steps to make these changes? When you say add “#” to Shop URL where can i find the URL? It’s not showing in the Menu.

I hope you don’t mean for me to delete the Shop tab and recreate it! ??

    Thanks again!

    Hey,
Yes, you would delete the current shop menu item and replace it with a custom links menu item. When you add a custom links menu item just place a “#” in the URL tab when adding the menu item from Appearance > Menus. Do you see the custom links menu item option?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi Hanna,

I do see the custom links menu option but I’m not sure if i can make this change without messing up the whole menu. Is there a simple code i can add to CSS to make the Shop tab inactive?

    Thanks again!

    Hey,
You can set the pointer-events for the menu link to none, but then the hover will not work either. The process above should not be difficult. You can simply place your new menu item where your current one is, leaving the submenu items below it.

    Kindly,
    Hannah
