Shop products not showing after page 1 – missing link parameter

  • Shop on my site only shows page 1 of products. Subsequent pages give 404 error

    Shop page at /shop/ shows page 1
    Subsequent page links point to /shop/1/ /shop/2/ etc which gives 404 error.
    Should be /shop/page/1/ /shop/page/2/ etc which work.

    Any idea how I fix this?

    I troubleshooted using the WP eCommerce plugin as only active plugin and the problem persisted.

    Wordpress version 5.5.3 up to date
    WP eCommerce version 3.15.1 up to date
