Shop Page Slug Problem

I am trying to make my shop page slug just “shop” like it’s supposed to be, but every time I create a new shop page it adds a -2 to the page slug. I have made sure that any previous pages with the “shop” slug are non-existing or deleted, so i am not sure why there is a duplicate. And I have even uninstalled and cleared databases and reinstalled woocommerce several times and every time I create a new shop page it always makes the slug -2 …. How do I fix this? I just want my shop page slug to be “shop”
