shop page not showing products

so i logged in today and checked in my pages by clicking on them in the menu section. it happened yesterday but i believe i fixed it by removing the “shop” page from the menu and adding it agin and today after logging in to my site again to add products my shop page was empty again. products are showing up in other pages or when i click the “view products” button in the home page but just doesnt want to work clicking on it in the menu.
