Shop page display – Stuck On Categories

    My shop page currently shows categories and previously I had set this to “Product Categories” in the admin area under woocommerce >> Product catalog.

    Now things have changed and I want products to display instead of categories, however, every time I try to change this it defaults back to “Product Categories”. (giphy below)

    I have:
    – Updated everything to the latest version
    – Checked for duplicate pages
    – Removed all custom code
    – Switched back to the default theme
    – Disabled all plugins apart from Woocommerce
    The problem still persists, does anyone have a code snippet I can use to force products to show?

    I can only think there is an issue with the database not being able to save or something. No errors in the console as it saves absolutely fine in the customiser, as soon as you refresh it reverts back.

    Any ideas will help

    Thanks for your patience, I would be glad to take a closer look at this.

    I tried to test this on my own site and was not able to see the same thing. This is what I saw:

    It looks like the GIF that you shared is no longer live. Would you mind sharing that again along with your System Status Report? This will give us a better idea of what may be happening.
