• I am using product categories in my menus; for example you go to the Shop menu and the product categories are in the drop down menu and you can click on a category and see all those products. This works great.

My issues is that if you click on the word SHOP, you go to a page that just says SHOP. How do I add content to this page while keeping my product categories on the menu? Is there a plugin that will allow me to do this or am I going about this the wrong way i.e. put the categories directly onto the SHOP page which I am okay with just do not know who to do it. Thanks!

  • Go to:
    Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display
set “shop page” to your shop page (the one that you have linked to in your menu)
set “Shop page display” to “Show categories”

Customers can navigate using either your shop menu or go to the shop page and click the category icons. No problem allowing both navigation methods.
