I’m having an issue locating any permissions for showing the products ‘sorting’ option on my woocommerce products dashboard page. As an admin, I can see it and manually drag and drop each product in a specific order. I would like for my Shop managers to see it as well, but I am going in circles locating any information about it. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi there ??

It is odd that your admins are not able to see the Sorting function on your products page. Could you please provide a screenshot to see how the backend of the product page looks like for them?

I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL here. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

    Thank you!

    Hi Gabriel,

I can actually see the sorting option as an admin. It’s the shop managers that cannot see it. I’ve included a screenshot here: https://snipboard.io/PBSfrd.jpg.

Thank you, Grant! I can see the problem now.

Well, by default, it should display the Sorting option for Shop Manager role as well, so it seems that there is a conflict going on on your site.

The best way to check for conflicts is to:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront theme
    2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    3. Check if the problem persist

If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Before you start

First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.

Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

Let me know how it goes! ??

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
