Shop Managers Cannot Access Wallet Transactions
-
Shop Manager is an official WooCommerce User Role. Shop Managers are responsible for handling refunds and order processing. Here’s the official language from WooCommerce:
https://woocommerce.com/document/roles-capabilities/Shop Manager is a role you can give someone to manage the shop without making them an Admin. They have all the rights a customer has, and are granted the main capabilities:
manage_woocommerce
: Gives shop managers the option to manage all settings within WooCommerce, and create/edit products.view_woocommerce_reports
: Gives them access to all WooCommerce reports.
The?Shop Manager role?has all the?capabilities listed at our?WooCommerce GitHub repo. They also have general WordPress editor capabilities.
Your Wallet and also RMA plugins should be adjusted to allow any Shop Manager user or users who have privileges to
manage_woocommerce
to be able to initiate refunds and manage transactions. When a Shop Manager cannot manage Wallet transactions, they can’t do their job.As it is, one can only use the User Role Editor to allow Shop Manager to manage ALL options in WordPress which is definitely too much.
Any WooCommerce plugin related to customer transaction information should include Shop Manager role.
