    Hi,

In woocommerce I can set the shop page.
This will show all products on that specific page.
But I also have some other content blocks on this page.
Woocommerce places the product below all my content blocks.
In the editors I cannot seem to change this, because I don’t see any code for the products.

So basically my question is how can I get the shop page products on top, before all my other content blocks?

    Hi there @vandermeerjp,

For this, we’d recommend building a custom Shop page using the WooCommerce Blocks. This would give you the freedom to place content on the page in any order you’d like, rather than using the default order from the WooCommerce Shop page.

If you do build a custom Shop page, we’d recommend removing the default Shop page set at WooCommerce → Settings → Products. More on that here.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Tijosh,

Thank you for the fast answer. I will look into the blocks.
I assume this is not the same as shortcodes.

However I have a following question.
On some page I manage to display all items from 1 category with the shortcode.
But since it’s many items, I would like to initially show only 12 items, followed by a “load more” button that will show the next 12, etc. Or anyway something similar like this function to prevent loading a huge page.

Also with the “category products” shortcode there are some sorting options.
But the one I would like is missing: sort by price. That seems the right choice to me.
    Is this possible somehow?

    Hello @vandermeerjp,

The WooCommerce Blocks represent an evolution of the shortcodes into the new standard of content blocks. I’d recommend using the blocks instead of shortcodes if possible, as they offer easily-configurable options such as sorting by price, choosing the layouts, etc.

If you’d prefer to use shortcodes, we have a page with all the available display attributes here, and a guide on sorting by custom meta fields (such as price) here.

    Hi there,

I hope you found the previous reply helpful. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Wow, this forum is high speed.

    First my question is closed.

And now its marked as solved, because I didn’t reply in a day.

I guess this forum is not for me, I don’t have the time to try out an answer in such a short time. And before you know it you’re too late, and the question is marked as solved.

To be clear, it is not solved at all. But I’ll get my answer somewhere else.

    Stay safe!
