Yikes – I’ve been working on a WooCommerce shop for a new client.

Deleted and reinstalled the plugin to try to fix an issue, and now the shop display is down unless I am logged in on the same browser in which I am viewing the shop. Restored a backup and then saved Permalinks, to no avail.

    Any bright ideas?

  • Make sure your settings are correct. Like the shop page is the same as it was before you deleted the plugin. Deleting the plugin and adding it back shouldn’t have caused any issues.

I have been checking and rechecking. Can you see the categories displayed on this page?

It’s like this shortcode is no longer working unless one is logged into WordPress on the same browser:
    [product_categories orderby=”title” order=”ASC” columns=”4″ ids=”” hide_empty=”12″]

Suddenly it is working again. Aaaaahhh. So quirky.

Thanks anyway, Stef. BTW, the link to your website isn’t working. Do you have a new one? I might want to hire you in the future.

    THANKS.

    Yup, I see everything.

Yeah, that site is old. No longer using. Thanks. I appreciate that. I am retired though. I help on here because I love helping others.

    Hi @jess888,

Glad to see the site is working again.

I’m going to mark this as resolved as you have indicated – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
